Welcome Walk 4

July 14th Keighley Railway Station circular via Park Wood, Hainworth, Hainworth Wood and the river Worth, Approx. 5 miles. 

Meet at Keighley Railway Station @ 6pm 

The first mile and a half of this walk is an uphill climb through Park Woods and onto Hog Holes Brow, (look out for deer on the way) then the route follows a number of farm tracks and paths through meadows onto the historic hamlet of Hainworth. The route then follows a track through Hainworth Woods. There is then a short section of road walking down to the River Worth, although very close to the centre of Keighley, if we are lucky we can spot Herons and Dippers on this stretch of the river. The paths then follows a series of snickets and ginnels till we arrive back at Keighley railway Station.
