Keighley Big Local Partnership is an Unincorporated Association with a terms of reference & code of conduct.
With a minimum membership of 8 and a maximum of 20 Big Local People
Big Local People are people who live, work or volunteer in the Keighley Big Local area, defined by Local Trust and known as “Keighley Valley
Big Local People have the right to vote; one member one vote
Decisions are made by a simple majority.
A simple majority is currently SIX
The Keighley Big Local Partnership is supported by a maximum of 7 big local friends
Big Local friends are drawn from : Area Office, Keighley East Elected Members, Big Local area Town Councilors, Keighley College, All for Play, Local Trusted Organisation and Big Local area Community Development Officers.
Big Local Friends have no vote, they act as critical friends
Other individuals can attend meetings in an advisory capacity. Representatives from other organisations and community leaders will be invited to attend meetings to advise the Partnership to deliver the Keighley Big Local plan. They do not have a right to vote.
